Illinois Plumbing Classes – Continuing Education & Test Prep Workshops
The Building & Fire Code Academy offers half-day (8am – 12pm) Continuing Education classes for licensed plumbers to maintain their state licensure. These classes are approved by the State of Illinois Department of Public Health and participants will earn 0.4 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or 4 Contact Hours. Both Friday and Saturday sessions are available.

Code Changes from the 2004 to 2014 Illinois Plumbing Code – February 21, April 18, and Oct. 23, 2026
Materials & Interceptors – March 13 and April 24, 2026
Traps & Cleanouts – January 31, April 10, and November 20, 2026
Plumbing Fixtures – January 16, March 21 and September 11, 2026
Water Supply – February 27, March 27, and September 25, 2026
To register for classes, please view our Calendar and select the class date you prefer. Class cost is $100 and can be paid at registration or on the day of class (select “Purchase Order” at checkout to pay with cash or check).
